"It is an article that ran recently in the Hamilton Spectator.
The article was written about the man I called uncle Frank.
The Roland Cummins named in the article as the salvation
just across the road is not me. Roland Cummins was my
grandfather and name sake.
I didn't get the urge to send this article to anyone until I got
a call from Uncle Franks Daughter, Ruth Miller. After she
called, I decided it was time to share. She didn't write a
poem about her dad this year.
Ypres, Vimy Ridge and Passchendaele where battles that Uncle
Frank rarely talked about. He was a hero."
